Twins!!

Today I am 11 weeks and 3 days pregnant! These are our first babies and we are so excited . We found out I was pregnant around five weeks and I went to my first doctors apppointment at six. I went without Bryce thinking that they would surely not do an ultrasound this early in pregnancy. WRONG. haha... It didn't take but a few short minutes for the lady to say ... "uh, so there are two in there!" I think I jokingly knocked the lady on here shoulder and laughed and said " hah don't joke like that." To my surprise she was not joking there were two babies! I could not begin to explain my emotions at this point. Shortly after the news that I was carrying twins, I was able to hear BOTH babies heart beats and the tears of joy came. I've always wanted twins but never thought we would be lucky enough to have them. As I was leaving the ultrasound room shaking, crying, laughing, scared, and very excited I sent Bryce a text. I said "you need to meet me immediately." Of course he thought that something was wrong. He called immediately and demanded I tell him what was going on right then. But I didn't want to tell him our big news over the phone. I assured him everything was fine in my calmest voice possible and told him I would just come to him that I had to tell him something. Thirty seconds later he called laughing and jokingly said "haha there aren't two of them are there??" I couldn't hold it in any longer and manged to mutter out a "......mayyyybe." Bryce was shocked but very excited, he began telling all his work friends immediately. After leaving the doctors office I went to his work and showed him the ultrasound pictures. Bryce was exstatic showing off those pictures to everyone he saw, already a proud Daddy. Just before I had to leave Papa pulled up to the job site. I hopped in his truck and handed him the ultrasound pictures without any explanation. He said "Bec who's are these?" as I responded " THEY are ours," he teared up and gave me a big hug. About this time Bryce walked up to the truck and we all shared a sweet moment. You could tell that Papa was already a proud Papa for these babies. Shortly after Skyla got a call, Bryce's mother got a call , and my mother got a call- which lead to every one else in the family finding out very quickly. Soon our phones were full of congratulations.
We could not be more excited. We have an appointment next Wednesday March 3rd and we cannot wait to see how much our sweet babies have grown since our last ultrasound. In just a few weeks we will be able to find out the sexes!
