Brooks and Briar's FIRST birthday party

Our boys turned ONE on July 14, 2011. And as unbelievable as it seemed to me when I was holding two babies that could fit in my palm one year before, they grew A LOT! They grew into two totally healthy, normal, HANDSOME little boys, and steadily doing that still of course.
If you know me know that I love to decorate for parties. Let me correct myself because I think I should emphasize the I LOVE to decorate for parties, there that will do. :) So for the boys first birthday I went with a carnival/ circus theme. Complete with monkeys on a  trapeze and miniature giraffe exhibits. Okay, they were stuffed but still, work with me people. So here are some pictures from the party. Hope you enjoy them- In fact I even had a little story  book made to help to the story of the party for when they are older. Ill try to post that later.

Meme and Briar!

We had lots of carnival like treats to snack on! I purchased the plastic popcorn buckets at the dollar tree for a little of nothing!

Check out all of those people ( not everyone even made it in this picture) better yet  check out all of those presents!!

What a great day it was. And though they may not remember all of Mommas' hard work that went into their very first birthday carnival, we will never forget :)
